STRIVING FOR A BETTER VILLAGE AT MAGNOLIA SPRINGS
It truly takes a village to nurture a town as wonderful, charming and beautiful as Magnolia Springs, Alabama. The Magnolia Springs Garden Club successfully completes many projects per year, including collaborating with the Town of Magnolia Springs to care for the Arboretum. Our meetings are lively, educational and entertaining (and our meals are delicious!). We hope you'll join us!
Our garden club's members are stewards of The Arboretum, a beautiful garden that stretches to The Springs. Stroll past 10 custom beds filled with seasonal colorful plantings under a shady canopy of mature trees. With enhancements on the way, keep a watch on this stunning venue for restfulness, horticultural education, or even a venue for small events. There's much more to come!
Meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of each month during September through May. Starting at 10 a.m., members always enjoy a lovely setting, intriguing speakers, artful activities, and a delicious lunch. And, the fellowship is outstanding — join us and see for yourself!
Magnolia Springs Garden Club immerses itself in the village through work to maintain and beautify the Magnolia Springs Community Center (established in 1894), support of the popular Tour of Homes, holiday events at The Arboretum, and gala fundraisers and inputs to help residents and guests of Magnolia Springs enjoy their time here.
Our mission is to enhance the natural beauty and vitality of our community by growing gardens, friendships, and a shared sense of purpose. Our objective is to encourage more abundant living as we cultivate our gardens and friends.
In addition to sponsoring many community events, Magnolia Springs Garden Club leads the way in caring for the Arboretum, including applications for grants and fundraising to support expansion and enhanced enjoyment. You'll find members spreading cheer and pinestraw, cultivating friendships and gardens, planning projects and events. There's room for you and your contributions when you join us!
Easter at the Arb is a delightful family event. Here, Magnolia Springs Garden Clubbers welcome guests to an enchanting garden full of lovely experiences and treats. We invite you to join us next Easter!
